Underdrive pulley systems increase power by redirecting the amount of power required to drive external engine accessories. Replacing the factory sized crank and accessory drive pulleys with a resized pulley slows the engine accessory, resulting in more horsepower available to the rear wheels. Realized horsepower gain is approximately 12 hp, resulting in a quarter mile time improvement of approximately 2/10 seconds.
