There are two varieties of prints on display. The ones labeled Giclee prints have been created by the artist. The original work might have been an oil, watercolor, gouache, or acrylic. The process involves taking digital images of the work and using a high resolution printer to produce vibrant, rich colors and texture you can almost feel. Iris Giclee prints are larger and made by Old Town Editions in Alexandria utilizing a similar method. Both types of prints last generations and are printed on archival paper. To preserve the color it is recommended that they be placed under UV-protected glass or acrylic and in a pH-neutral environment when framed.
