Si5SD1-50V-20A The Si5SD1-50V-20A is a Single, 50V 20A Solenoid Driver with an integrated heat sink that uses a digital control voltage VI1,Gr (0 to 5V) to turn a load-current on or off. This board requires a single 6V to 50V DC power source (unregulated and unfiltered) at a 0A to 20A current range to operate normally with a wide range of inductive loads (coils or Solenoids). The digital control input (I1) is zener-diode protected and requires only 2mA input current (at VI1,G=5V) to turn the load current fully on.

Si5SD2-50V-2x16A Si5SD2-50V-2x16A is a Dual, 50V 2x16A Solenoid Driver with an integrated heat sink that uses two independent digital control voltages VI1,G and VI2,G (0 to 5V) that turns two load-currents on or off. This board requires a single 6V to 50V DC power source (unregulated and unfiltered) at a 0A to 40A current range to operate normally with a wide range of inductive loads (coils or Solenoids). The digital control inputs are zener-diode protected and each requires only 2mA input current (at VIn,G=5V) to turn a load current fully on.

Si5SDAT1-30V-20A The Si5SDAT1-30V-20A is a single, Solenoid Driver with an integrated heat sink that uses a microprocessor based adjustable timer to fully turn on or off the current in an inductive load (at 30V DC, 0A to 20A current range). The onboard timer can operate in two user-selectable modes: In the One-Shot Mode, each positive voltage edge (at pin I1) produces a coil-current pulse. The pulse width is adjustable from 5 to 500 milliseconds using an on-board 25-turn potentiometer. In the Periodic Mode, the coil pulses are periodically generated as long as the input voltage (at pin I1), is greater than +2.5V. The time-delay between pulses is adjustable from 0.1 to 20 sec using a second 25-turn potentiometer. The initial value of the load current is also user selectable by a second jumper.

Si5SDOI1-50V-20A The Si5SDOI1-50V-20A is a single, 50V-20A Solenoid Driver with an integrated heat sink that uses an Optically Isolated digital control voltage VI1,G (0 to 15V) to turn a load-current on or off. This board requires a single 6V to 50V DC power source (unregulated and unfiltered) at a 0A to 20A current range to operate normally with a wide range of inductive loads (coils or Solenoids). The digital control input is zener-diode protected and optically isolated from the power source Vp (with a breakdown voltage of 1000V); this input requires only 2mA current at (VIn,G=5V) to fully turn on the load current. This current is off (zero) when 0< VI1,G<2.5V and the load current is fully on (max.) when 2.5V< VI1,G<15V. Snubbing circuits and filter capacitors are included to suppress inductive switching transients. An onboard LED (red) is used to monitor the load-voltage. A small (2.3”x2.4”x0.45”) finned integrated heat sink is included with mounting hardware (as shown on the photograph) to operate contiuously at 20A or 600W power levels. Typical applications are: Inductive-Plunger Driver, SPST Solid State Relay, etc. This board can be configured to perform efficiently in many customized applications. http://signalllc.com/products/Si5SDOI1-50V-20A.html

The digital control inputs are zener-diode protected and optically isolated from the power source Vp (with a breakdown voltage of 1000V) and each requires only 2mA input current at VIn,G=5V to fully turn on a load current. Each load current is off (zero) when its corresponding control voltage VIn,G is: 0< VIn,G<2.5V and the load current is on (max.) when 2.5V< VIn,G<15V. Snubbing circuits and filter capacitors are included to suppress inductive switching transients. Two onboard LEDs (Red and Green) are used to monitor the load-voltages and an optional. A small (2.3”x2.4”x0.95”) finned integrated heat sink is included with mounting hardware (as shown on the photograph) to operate at 2x16A or 1600W power levels.

Si5SSD2-FBR-50V-2x16A The Si5SSD2-FBR-50V-2x16A is a “Smart” Dual, 50V 2x16A Solenoid Driver with Fixed Load-Current Boost/Reduction and with integrated finned heat sink. The words "Fixed Boost/Reduction" implies that after a coil is prompted, 100% PWM Load-Current is used with that coil for 100msec (Boost) and after this time, the PWM is reduced to 50% (the Time Duration and Reduction Factor is Fixed). The initial current boost is required to increase the pull-in force of the solenoid coil with an iron plunger, while the current reduction prevents overheating. An onboard microprocessor generates a 5kHz or 20kHz PWM carrier signal, controls the boost-time/reduction-factor, and monitors the control inputs (at 2kHz sampling rate). The PWM carrier frequency is user selectable by the jumper CN3, 20kHz when CN3 is open and 5kHz when short.
